Description: The Olde English Sheepdog is most widely recognized as the "nanny dog" in the movie Peter Pan, they are also affectionately called the "Bobtail", so named because of the lack of a tail. They are affectionate, loyal dogs and quite protective of those they love. Natural protectors, they were originally the guardians of a flock and this instinct is displayed in their tendency to adopt young animals and children. |
